Banded V-belts are multiple V-belt strands permanently joined by a tie band, forming a single unit. They eliminate belt whip, flip, and uneven wear in high-torque, high-vibration drives where individual belts fail prematurely — cooling tower fans, large AHUs, and industrial multi-belt drives.

Available in classical (B, C), cogged (BX, CX), and cogged narrow-wedge (5VX) profiles. The number prefix indicates strand count: 2/BX = two BX strands joined as one. Fits the same sheave groove as the individual equivalent — no sheave changes required. Recommended for cooling towers, large commercial fan drives, vertical shaft drives, and any multi-belt HVAC application where drive stability and consistent belt loading are critical.
