How Dirty Filters can contribute to machine failure and decrease production efficiency

How Dirty Filters can contribute to machine failure and decrease production efficiency.

How often should you change your air filters?

Answer varies based on several factors such as Environment, type of filter used, season/weather.

For a basic fiberglass filter, they should be changed every month. A higher-quality (MERV) filter designed to last for up to 3 months.

Air filters that are full of dust and debris obstruct airflow, which results to inefficient system operation, and in some cases, machines or equipment not to work properly.

To prevent these issues, make sure to change them regularly and make sure you always have an adequate supply of replacement filters on hand. It is advisable that you set (and adhere) to a regular scheduled check of your HVAC System to ensure all systems and equipment function efficiently throughout the year.
